Over Five years experience creating ceramic art.
Working in different clay bodies, from low to high temp clay bodies, also in making own casting slip
Knowledge in historical ceramics, and extensive awareness of contemporary artists
Photographing and cataloging ceramic work (Slide and digital) Firing electric kilns
Mixing glazes from scratch
Knowledge in making 2 + piece molds and Slipcasting
Extensive knowledge in various types of handbuilding techniques: coil building, slab building, hump, and slump molding
Very easy going, loves working with others
Experience in setting up ceramic work for a show/benefit. Experience in teaching children ages 6 – 13 basic hand building skills (coil/extruder/slab building), throwing, and glazing techniques
